I completed my PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2009 and my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowships in neuropsychology, both in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. I worked 3 years with a local hospital system before opening NEA Neuropsychology, PLLC, in June of 2014.
As a clinical neuropsychologist, I provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of conditions affecting mood, behavior, and thinking skills. My fellowship emphasis was in geriatric neuropsychology, but I have training across the lifespan. Special interests include dementias, obstructive sleep apnea, and neuropsychological aspects of food allergy and gluten-related disorders.
I am active in advocacy both on the local/state and national level for the Arkansas Psychological Association (ArPA) and the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN). I am a member of several other national and international professional organizations. Locally, I am involved in an area volunteer disaster response group and the Advisory Board for the Don W. Reynolds Center for Aging-Northeast.
